File System Assessment (FSA)
Obtain a complete summary overview of the data within your environment, where it’s located, what file types are prevalent, how old is the data and when was it last accessed. It’s like mapping out your entire information infrastructure.
Commonality System Assessment (CSA)
This service looks specifically at the level of information duplication, providing a report which can be used to decide which data is redundant and offering an excellent starting point for new information management policies to be identified to improve the situation moving forward.
Email System Assessment (ESA)
Analysing your email system profile for either Exchange or Lotus Notes, the assessment will reveal the size of individual mailboxes and PST / NSF files, the age of the emails, access times and attachment details. This is especially useful in preparation for an email archiving project or before a version migration. If you’ve never archived before, Stack would always recommend you do so before a migration, as only the remaining production data (typically 30% or less) would be migrated with the rest held within the archive. This results in a far quicker and tightly controlled migration.
VMware or Hyper-V Capacity Planner
Whether you’re considering Virtualisation with either of these leading technologies, this assessment will prove invaluable as it accurately sizes your new Server platform giving you consolidation predictions and server specifications to ensure performance at the host layer.
